De Grote Zomer Hut, een interactieve installatie over dwalen, zoeken en vinden. Een kleurexplosie die zich van beneden tot boven over de Auditoriumtrappen uitstrekt, met in het hart ‘de hut die er altijd al was’.
Een fantasierijk landschap: een bos van kleurrijke sculpturen waarin bezoekers vrij mogen rondlopen. Al dwalend ontdek je kijkdozen die verwonderen en vilten vormen waarmee je zelf een sculptuur voor het fantasiebos kunt bouwen.
An imaginative landscape unfolds: a forest of colourful sculptures through which visitors are free to wander. Along the way, you discover curious viewing boxes and felt shapes that allow you to create your own sculpture for the fantasy forest.

De hut die er altijd al was
Centraal in het fantasiebos staat een grote hut waar je naar binnen mag om te lezen, samen te spelen en even tot rust te komen. ‘De hut die er altijd al was’ vindt haar oorsprong in de hutten die Teuntje Fleur als kind bouwde. Een van haar meest levendige herinneringen is het creëren van een wereld die even losstond van de werkelijkheid: een plek waar de tijd anders voelde en waar ze urenlang kon tekenen en verdwijnen in haar eigen verbeelding. In de hut staan fantasie, ontspanning en samenzijn centraal.------------ENGLISH------------

The hut that was always there
At the centre of the fantasy forest stands a large hut that visitors can enter to read, play together, and take a moment to unwind. The hut that was always there finds its origins in the huts Teuntje Fleur built as a child. One of her most vivid memories is creating a world detached from reality for a while: a place where time felt different and where she could spend hours drawing and disappearing into her own imagination.
